Tolley’s 50th – Aardvarkland

Thanks to everyone who came along. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope you all did too.

Thanks to Colin and the bar staff for arranging the venue.

Thanks to Kerri and Sarah & my Sis for helping with the food and cake.

Thanks to anyone who helped tidy up – but in particular to Ruth and Duncan in that regard.

Thanks for the prezzies. Most were booze related (no problem with that!) but thanks to Roper and McGuire (D) who thought my liver could do with a rest.

Tol

Momentum is building fast for the exciting event that is Tolley’s 50th. The target set by the committee of more attendees than Tol had for his 8th Birthday party back in 1974 (of 10) has already be smashed, and the unthinkable target (of 30) of the unforgettable 16th Birthday jamboree [although Tolley’s recollection is apparently a “little hazy”] is now clearly in the cross hairs.

Thanks to those of you have replied. Current state of play is: Broggie, JT, Potter, Juddy, and Tess are unfortunately “No’s”, whilst Aide & Shirley, Tasker, Col & Aptar, Mags & Jo, Dunc & Ruth, Gary & Dawn, Jim & Angela, Kato & Leisa, Mel, Niall, Nick & Bren, Stu & Jo, Tim & Andrea have already seen the path to spiritual enlightenment (with Helen Judd a possible). Which means, by my calculations, that 28 of you on this distribution are in danger of missing out of this once-in-a-life-time opportunity.

So can you let us know, if you haven’t already, if you are a “Yes” or a “No” please, and we hope that you can make it.
